Lab Booking System Help
The system allows you to log in using you network username and password. Once a user has been logged, they may make a booking, track the bookings, update, and delete current bookings, printing the calendar, adding a lab under their names, editing and deleting the lab details. It also allows an administrator to add more administrators to a lab.
Once a user is logged in, they are given the following options and they may follow the instructions below to execute commands.
How to book a Lab.
- First you have to login using your staff number and password.
- Then click on the <Make a booking> link.
- Your Staff #, email address and the IP of your machine will be captured.
- Select which lab you would like to book.
- Enter the course code of the lecture.
- Select the dates and times of your bookings.
- You may also enter notes for the bookings.
- Click on Submit.
How to check your bookings.
- First you have to login using your staff number and password.
- Click on the <View your booking> link.
How to delete a booking.
- First you have to login using your staff number and password.
- Click on the (View your booking) tab.
- To delete an entire course, just click the (delete) tab.
- To delete a specific date, click the (update) tab.
- Select the date and time you wish to delete and click on the (Update Booking) tab.
How to print your calendar.
- Click on the (Print your calendar) tab.
- Select which lab you wish to print out.
- Select which date.
- Then select which view (day, week or month) you would like to print out.
- Click Preview.
- Then click the (Print this page) tab.
